Yourai's third release on Mahorka (after his debut "Unicorn's Peacock EP" and the magnificent album "Shadhavar") is the result of the work, passion and love for music of quite some people involved. The single "My heart is so loud" preparation took more time than was expected, and even when everything was finished and arranged some issues shelved it for some months more, but, for sure, it is worth the wait! Now you have nearly one hour of music, most of which based on the acapella track "My heart is so loud" under the hands of some of our/your favorite producers around, + two cover versions Yourai did of original tracks by Moduretik and the loved by everybody Cocorosie.

All of the artists involved have dedicated an extremely respectable amount of time and effort to sculpt their submission until it was perfect.
Could it be possible that one reason for this has to do with the fact that v/a - Vortex was a compilation that simply needed to be made?

Musica Excentrica proud to present our new compiliation dedicated to most impressive film-directors of XX century - Andrey Tarkovsky.
In the entire history of cinema there has never been a director, who has made such a dramatic stand for the human spirit as he did. Today, when cinema seems to have drowned in a sea of glamorized triviality, when human relationships on screen have been reduced to sexual intrigue or sloppy sentimentality, and baseness rules the day - this man appears as a lone warrior standing in the midst of this cinematic catastrophe, holding up the banner for human spirituality.The Genius of modern Russian cinema - hailed by Ingmar Bergman as "the most important director of our time" - died an exile in Paris in December 1986.
After 22 years, passed from that year we decided to ask Kim Cascone, Astro, Violet, 833-45, Kenneth Kirschner, Astrowind, Pink Twins, Alva Noto, Nobukazu Takemura and Nikita Golyshev what do they think about Tarkovsky's phenomenon. This "musical answers" are now gathered in a big compiliation, and we invite everyone to explore it:

THE BRIDGE FESTIVAL

Live concerts, performances and sound-installations
- a project in the frame of European Sound Delta -
The Bridge Festival is a two days music and sound-art event held on the 18th and 19th of July in Ruse, at the Canetti House and in the old fort Sexaginta Prista, as well as in the Giurgiu freezone. More than 30 artists from Europe, Canada and U.S. are invited to take part with concerts, performances and sound-installations.
The entrance at the festival is almost free: a symbolic 1 euro is to be paid for the night concerts.

"Drop - a 4 note soundtrack" tells the story of an underwater relationship in 15 scenes. Each scene comes with a track and a storyboard cover.
The album's main theme moves up and down a 4 note scale, a limit which is taken in order to capture the main character's obsession and create an underwater feel.

tmth02E Mystahr - Summerthyme (TimeTheory)
It seems only yesterday it was Sprimmer, and now it is Summerthyme already! Thyme certainly does fly when sounds are being cooked up in Mystahr's Dutch scientist studio, and listeners will no doubt have a picnic with this release, whether it be hotdogs or circuit boards on the barbecue.
If anything the tracks on "Summerthyme" are like physics experiments that have gone horribly right. If a human being could survive inside an atom-smasher, these sounds are much like what one would expect to see. These compositions do not take themselves too seriously, yet they retain a tulip-wilting strength about them. One wonders what next Mystahr may come with, given the progression from "Spring Theory" to "summerthyme". Since Mystahr releases come to Timetheory like flashes of lightning, our next visit from him may come next week, next season, or, 4th-dimensionally, a couple of years ago.
